The car came originally painted in Kasan Red with Silver top and Black interior.
Heated rear-window, limited-slip-diff (from ZF) and intermittent wipers
were added as optional goodies from the factory. Engine had approximately
125,000 km since new. I bought the car in 1998 and it`s currently under construction.
I am the fourth owner; Today the car is painted in silver (Audi TT) with black
cloth-top
(Sonnenland); it has Mercedes-Benz carpets in black, black Porsche 911 seats
in leather with matching rear-seat; Nardi Classico wood steering-wheel,
polished aluminium shift knob, modified Porsche 924 gauges with chromed outer
rim and a Becker-radio; Engine: 1678 cm³ displacement, Mahle forged pistons,
Weber 40 IDFs, Schleicher-cam (308°), swivel-feet adjusters, stainless-steel
valves,
competition exhaust from the 'Boxer-Shop' and some other goodies; all in all
it gives
110 hp (DIN), capable to 6500 rpm, Kennedy 1700 lb pressure-plate with
Porsche-disk (bi-metal) and 3,875:1 gear-ratio were added; 2 inches lowered
front,
Bilstein gas-shocks.
