1971 1302 L Convertible

This VW Super Beetle has been registered in Italy the 9 January 1971,
so it should be built in the 1970. According the informations on the booklet,
I am the fifth owner of the car. I bought the car the 14 October 2000.
It has been under restoration for one year and 5 months, instead of
the 3 months initially foreseen The Beetle has been repainted in the original
L60D Elm Green. The upholstery also has been changed, and now
it is in the original colour, 'cork'. The floors are new, and there is not any
rust now. The car has been fully dismounted in pieces, and rebuilt.
All the broken or damaged pieces has been changed, and now it is
just as in the day it came out from the factory. The engine has been changed
by one of the past owners with a 1200 D built in the 1977, but I bought
also a 1302 AB that will replace this one. The plates has not been changed
during the years, and are still "Roma G31674".
